Happy New Year from the Burtosons here in Hong Kong.

Key events this month were:

• We welcomed Joe and Iz back on New Year’s eve who had spent Christmas in the UK with their family.
• We bid farewell to Gordon, Karen, and Roro on New Year’s eve.
• We spent New Year’s eve at home with Harriet, Joe and Iz and the Mais’.
• We bid farewell on New Year’s day to Harriet who was heading to Delhi for 8 weeks to do a placement in the main teaching hospital and to Joe and Iz who were heading back to Sydney.
• For Lottie a key event at her hockey club was the visiting coach – Jamie Dwyer: Jamie is an Olympic gold medallists and to hockey what Roger Federer is to tennis or Michael Jordan is to basketball. He is the best of the best and has won the FIH International Player of the Year five time in 2004 and again in 2007, 2009, 2010 & 2011.
• Peter spent week in Singapore at the OmnicomMediaGroup RHQ.
• Chinese New year is early this year and starts on January 23rd. This is the first of 15 days of celebration and the start of the Year of the Dragon.
